Lunch will be provided each day as well as a shooters log book and class room book. Click chart or D.O.P.E. for your rifle is not necessary. If you don't have one, we will chronograph and make charts for every rifle in the class as well as teach you how we do it so you will be prepared to make your own in the future.  Our goal is to share with you years of experience over three days.  The classroom and shooting course is challenging but it will set you up for success both at the range and in the field.

Rifle- Bolt or semi-automatic capable of 1 MOA repeatable accuracy. Calibers .223 and up.  Magnums are welcome -  but it is important to have a rifle that YOU can shoot well for up to 100 plus rounds per day. If you must bring a Magnum or any other heavy recoiling rifle, consider a muzzle brake for recoil reduction.

Please be sure to verify your rifle's accuracy prior to the school.  1 inch at 100 yards or less is preferred.   A little over that will still allow you to run through the course.  If you do not have a rifle that meets the above requirements please call and we will be glad to discuss ways we may be able to help.

Ammunition-  200 rounds minimum, 250 rounds preferred of quality handloaded or commercial match grade ammunition, please be sure to proof this in your gun prior to coming to the school.
Scope- Quality optics with magnification of 10x or more. Must have externally adjustable elevation and wind age knobs. A ranging reticle is recommended, but not mandatory.  Also be sure to check the elevation you have left after zeroing the rifle.  You will need 28 to 33 minutes of elevation to reach 1000 yards.  Any questions on this please call.
Bipod- Swivel is needed. The Harris “S” series 6-9 seems to work best.  A pod-lock will help but is not mandatory.
Rear Bag- For a very stable shooting platform for under the butt of the rifle. We will have some available for purchase if you do not have one.
Eye and Ear Protection- Mandatory.
Notebook- With pens/pencils/calculator for notes during class and collecting data on the range.
Clothing- Suitable for weather conditions, we shoot rain, snow, or shine. Sunsceen?
Pack or Gear Bag- For carrying gear to and from range/firing positions.
Food/Water- Snacks during class and range time. Extra water for hot weather. Lunch will be provided each day.
Shooting Mat- A shooting mat or tarp will be needed for in the field shooting.
Extras- Spotting Scope and wind meter would be nice to have handy, but not mandatory.
